Puffy Painting Again

It's been a while since the kids and I made this homemade puffy paint, so Miss O and I whipped up a batch today and the kids had a good time drizzling it and drawing with it on some paper. They each made several paintings a piece, which we popped in the microwave for a few seconds and then enjoyed the dry, puffy texture of this paint.

Miss O really liked this activity. She didn't remember it from the last time we did it, though Little Bean remembered:

We did this last summer and the kids loved it so I'll have to try it again. I wonder if R will remember that we did it before.

We are definitely going to do this sometime this week! I don't have self-rising flour but I just found this recipe online:

One cup self-rising flour equals:
1 cup all-purpose flour, plus
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder, plus
1/8 teaspoons salt.
