Roll A Snack

I saw this in the archives on Let's Explore,(yes, I waste time reading the archives of other blogs!) and knew it was something I wanted to try. This is just a little game that makes snack time a little different and fun, and also helps you unload your pantry of all those snack foods that are 90 percent gone.
All you do is fill a plate with several different snack foods. We used dried apricots and Craisins, pretzels, wheat thins, peanuts, and cherrios. I was able to finish off the last of several of these items. Once you've got your tray set up, then grab a die or two. I used two because I know my kids would each want their own. To play, the child rolls and then chooses a snack and counts out the appropriate number of pieces to eat. The game continues, alternating players, until all the food is gone.

So, what are you waiting for? Go raid your pantry and roll a snack!
