A Cute Little Penguin

We just rented this cute little book from the library, and after reading it I was inspired to do this little craft with the kids. Unfortunately, Little Bean was sent to time out right at the start of the craft, so one of these little cuties is mine! :)

To make this, I cut out an oval for the body of the penguin from black construction paper, as well as two leaf shapes for the wings. Then I cut out a circle for the white belly, and a triangle and feet from orange paper. We glued everything on, and then I used brads to connect the wings on so that they were able to move up and down. I love how they turned out!
